UP Congress Coordination Committee Meeting (17th -18th January 2011 ) held in Lucknow .

17th January 2011. Lucknow. Day 1.The first day of UP Congress coordination committee meeting was initiated by the speech of state congress chief Dr. Rita Bahuguna Joshi ; her speech focused on the issue of corruption , price rise , farmers’ rights , minority welfare issues , plight of bunkars and protection and justice for marginalized and oppressed sections of society . She also gave an elaborate account how the developmental schemes of the UPA government were not being given its just due in the present BSP government.

AICC General Secretary in charge of UP Shri Digvijaya Singh invited suggestions from all speakers on issues of organizational importance and also asked the congress yatra in charges to present the report on the congress yatra .

The congress yatra in charges said that the yatra had successfully depicted the theme of “ Atit ki Neev Par Bhavishya Ka nirman “ and lot of enthusiastic young people had joined the party and while the experienced gave the real path to proceed further .

Congress leaders, MP’s and ministers had a firm view that the congress party should aggressively work to expose the mass level organized corruption in the present BSP government and party needs to take the cause of poor , oppressed and marginalized sections of society . The deterioration of law and order machinery was seen as a major problem for the common man, who does not feel safe. The leaders converged to a consensus that party should strongly fight BSP government for benefit of the masses .

Most Leaders were of the view that party should give ticket only to the candidates with clean track record and at least 150-200 names of candidates should be announced early .

Amongst those who attended the meeting were AICC Secretaries Shri Bhola Pandey and Shri Abdul Mannan ; MPs Shri Jagdambika Pal , Shri PL Punia , Shri Harsh vardhan Singh , Shri Raja Ram Pal , Shri Zafar Ali Naqvi , Smt. Annu Tandon ;MLAs Shri Pradeep Mathur , Shri Vinod Chaturvedi , Shri Inder Chandra Shukla , Shri Sanjay Kapoor , Shri Dinesh Pratap Singh , Shri Pankaj Malik , Ex Minister s Shri Ram Krishna Divedi , Shri Ranjeet Singh Judeo , Shri Ammar Rizvi ; Ex MPs Shri Rajesh Mishra , Shri Surender Prakash Goyal , Shri Vijender Singh , Shri Harikesh Bahadur , Shri Vishvajit Prithvijit Singh , Ex MLA Shri Rajender Sharma , Ex MLCAs Shri Rajeshpati Tripathi and SC Maheshwari .

The meeting also had AICC General Secretary Smt. Mohsina Kidwai , CLP Leader Shri Pramod Tiwari , Leader in Legislative council Shri Naseeb Pathan , AICC Secretary in charge UP Shri Parvez Hashmi , AICC Secretaries Shri Avinash Pandey and Shri Jaidev Jena ; Central Ministers Shri Shriprakash Jaiswal , Shri Jiten Prasada , Shri RPN Singh , Shri Pradeep Jain Aditya ; MPs Shri Raj Babbar , Shri Sanjay Sinh , Smt. Ratna Singh , Shri Kamal Kishore and Shri Rashid Alvi . Ex MP Noor Bano , Ex CM Shri Ram Naresh Yadav , Ex UPCC President Shri Arun Kumar Singh ‘ munna ‘ and Ex Minister Shri Raj Bahadur . .

Amongst the Party MLAs there were Shri Ram Sevak dobhi , Shri Madhav Pasvan, Shri Ajay Kapoor , Smt. Amita Singh , Shri Sanjeev Daryabadi , Shri Shivganesh Lodhi , Shri Ravinder Chawdhary , Shri Shyam Kishore Shukla .Ex MLA Shri Satish Ajmani and Congress Yatra Coordinator Dr. RP Tripathi were also the part of the meeting .
