AICC Secretary (In charge UP)

Shri Parvez Hashmi is a senior congress leader and has been a four time MLA from Delhi. He holds a masters degree in Chemistry from AMU while he served as Cabinet Member of Aligarh Muslim University Students Union during 1972 to 1974. He was appointed General Secretary DPCC in 1996;he also rendered his services as a minister in Delhi Government with Transport and PWD as portfolio. Currently he is Rajya Sabha Member and serving as AICC secretary in charge of Uttar Pradesh.

Parvez Hashmi

Leader, Congress Legislative Party in Assembly

Shri Pramod Tiwari is a senior congress leader from Uttar Pradesh and has been one of the longest serving wining MLAs. He has served as Minister in UP Government and has been a part of many committees of UP Assembly. He holds the Guinness book of world record for wining 8 consecutive times on the ticket of the same party, same symbol and from the same seat; which speaks volumes of his leadership capacities.

Shri Avinash Pande is a senior congress leader with loads of organization experience behind his belt; he has dual MA degree in economics and public administration respectively .He has been an MLA from Maharashtra while served in numerous committee in Maharashtra Legislative Assembly .He has held many important organizational positions such as President, Maharashtra NSUI ; Vice President ,MPCC and GS , Indian Youth Congress. Currently he is a Rajya Sabha Member and serving as AICC secretary in charge of Uttar Pradesh.

was taking active part in the
various activities of Congress.

In the 1886 Calcutta convention, 72 people residing in the twenty one districts of Uttar Pradesh. took part, till that time permanent committees of Indian national Congress were already constituted in Madras, Bombay, Nagpur, Amrawati, Calcutta, Lahore & Allahabad.
